Sierra Forward is supporting Jaron Brandon for reelection to the Board of Supervisors
Jaron is a member of the Sierra Forward Leadership Team, where he has established himself as an independent thinking, very pragmatic advocate of local issues and interests. He is well-versed in a variety of fields of housing, forest management, fire mitigation and insurance, economic development, and other issues of critical concern to his constituents.
Jaron graduated from Sonora High School then earned his bachelor’s degree in political Science from UC-Merced. Brandon remains one of the youngest local elected officials in California. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute forLocal Government, which “empowers local government leaders and delivers real-world expertise to help them navigate complex issues, increase their capacity, and build trust in their communities.” That mission describes Jaron Brandon to a “T”!
