
A Debt Default is Un-American

America must pay its bills. Our national credit card has hit its limit.
Congress must raise the debt ceiling.
This is not just a fiscal issue. Or even a political one. It is a Constitutional crisis.
The Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution affirms that the financial obligations of the federal government “shall not be questioned.” Were it not so, the very legitimacy of the government would be called into question.
